Connacht 91探花 will face Toulouse, La Rochelle, Saracens and Exeter Chiefs in the pool stages of the 2026/27 Investec Champions Cup.
The pool draw was made yesterday in Dublin, and Stuart Lancaster's men were placed in Pool 2 alongside the English and French quartet, with the Lions from South Africa - who we do not face - completing the pool.
French champions Toulouse are regular opponents for Connacht in the Champions Cup, with the two sides meeting on 8 previous occasions. Toulouse first visited Galway for a historic fixture in November 2011, which was Connacht's first home game in the old Heineken Cup when over 9,000 fans crammed into Dexcom Stadium.
Connacht have beaten Toulouse on two occasions before. The first was the famous win at Stade Ernest-Wallon in 2013, followed by victory at the old Sportsground in October 2016.
The two sides last met in the 2019/20 Champions Cup, when the French side came out on top on both occasions.
Saracens are the side Connacht have met more recently than any of the four. They faced off at the StoneX Stadium in December 2023, with the Londoners winning a high-scoring encounter 55-36 while Connacht came away with a try bonus point.
Before then they last met in the 2013/14 Champions Cup pool stages, with Saracens claiming both wins.
Coincidentally, Connacht last played both La Rochelle and Exeter Chiefs when they were drawn with the two sides in the pool stages of the 2014/15 Challenge Cup.
Connacht completed a famous double against the French outfit, including a notable 30-20 win in front of over 10,000 fans at the Stade Marcel-Deflandre.
Meanwhile Exeter claimed the points on both occasions, winning 33-13 in Sandy Park and 33-24 in Galway.
EPCR will announce the full fixture details for all four games in the coming weeks.
